Eva Mendes Continues To Sell Calvin Klein Stuff

Having recently dissed Jennifer Lopez for her money-making endeavors and claiming that her only career goal is "becoming the best actress possible," Eva Mendes showed up at a promotional event in Harrod's to celebrate the launch of Calvin Klein's underwear line Seductive Comfort.

The Calvin Klein poster child has been spotted all over the place lately, promoting the company's wares that I had actually forgotten that she was an actress.

Unless this whole time she's been "acting" like a spokesmodel who likes getting PAID.

It appears as if Christina Aguilera's new signature look of blunt bangs, Cleopatra eye make-up and pink lipstick is here to stay.

The "Keeps Getting Better" singer looked like the stained glass window of some kind of bizzaro world church in a stretchy, patterned ensemble at the Africa Rising Event. There's even a shot in which X-tina herself seems to be expressing distaste at her own appearance.

Making her outfit even more interesting is the fact that Aguilera was wearing this at an event attended by Colin Powell. Those two go WAY back...

Dwelling in the shadow of her glamorous movie star mother, Rumer Willis making a film with the most fabulous MILF of them all, Demi Moore, would seem counterintuitive.

But Rumer knows better than to compete with her flawless mother on-screen. Demi directed the short entitled Streak, in which her 20-year-old spawn stars.

The piece is just one in a series of short films sponsored by Glamour magazine with their Reel Moments project. I'll be curious to see it when it hits the Internet. For those of you who missed Rumer's stint on Army Wives, here's a little reminder of what she's working with, acting-wise.

Some candid shots from when Eva Longoria posed for the most recent issue of Allure give a very candid look at the petite star of Desperate Housewives. Longoria posed in a simple turtleneck top, short shorts and heels (reminding me of Gwen Stefani from her retro-looking "Cool" music video) in the backyard of a Malibu Mansion in the mountains of Santa Monica.

With our pregnancy watch in full force, I would have to say that she doesn't look to be sporting a bump. But it is interesting that in every picture, she has her arm somewhere near her middle, as if she's shielding it. Someone get a body language expert in here, STAT!

Her Album As I Am garnered singer Alicia Keys a total of five nominations for this year's American Music Awards. The swollen vocal chords that afflicted the star of The Secret Life of Bees during her tour for the album obviously didn't adversely affect her chances at winning.

Not far behind, Coldplay nabbed four nominations for their return to radioplay with their album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. The top honor of 2008 Artist of the year nomination went to chart toppers Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne, Alicia Keys, Coldplay and the Eagles.

Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the event. Producer of the AMAs Larry Klein said, "The show is a true reflection of popular culture and what is current to consumers of live and recorded music." You don't say.

Here's a Funny or Die clip with Hayden Panetierre cracking my shit up in a Republican bashing PSA parody. I know she didn't write it and doesn't actually know who John McCain is, but her enthusiasm for sarcasm is irresistable and she says "f*ck." A LOT. This totally means I can't rank on her dolphin addiction or her wife-slapping father or her romance with that way older strokeface guy anymore. It's ok. I just want to hear her say "f*ck" again. Watch this and you'll feel like forgiving her for how much Heroes sucks. Maybe.

Daughter of Phil Collins, the little slip of a 19-year-old better known as Lily Collins showed up at Fashion Week in Los Angeles doing her darndest to look like a fashionista. But there's just something about this ouftit that doesn't work for me.

I appreciate her attempt to interject some color into the otherwise monochromatic palette, but it just looks off to me. Maybe if she cut her hair and wore brighter lipstick I could approve.

Despite recent rumors that Dancing with the Stars failure Kim Kardashian would be trying to have a wedding dress constructed to somehow fit that giant bulldozer under her back, she says that she has no plans to get married to her dude Reggie Bush.

"I'm not engaged," she says. "I'm not even on Facebook!"

What? What the hell is this one talking about? I swear to god, her brains fell out of her damn fool head a long time ago.  What does social network sites have to do with some dude marrying your fat ass? I don't get you!

NFL star Reggie Bush shot down the rumors as well after a New Orleans Saints reps called to congratulate him.

"Reggie was like, 'What are you talking about?' He had no idea the rumor was even out there," a source says.

I hope he then called up Kimmy to curse her ass out, because she's totally the one that started the rumor.

Gossip Girl girl and guy Blake Lively and Penn Badgley are the stars of a cutesy new political ad from McCainFreeWhiteHouse.org supporting Barack Obama in which they flip the old "talk with your kids about drugs" shtick and compare it to voting for John McCain. You really don't need these ads. All you need to do is watch Tina Fey mock Sarah Palin. That alone should terrify you away from voting for that old dude.

Today's Recapist Highlight: - Desperate Housewives

Cute lil' Benjamin Katz is six years old, and there's a lot he doesn't understand.  Mostly related to the fact that his mother, Danielle Van de Kamp, snatched him away from his grandmother Bree when he was still very small.  See, Danielle (understandably, IMO) wanted her kid back, after having initially told Bree she could raise him.  At the moment, he, his mother, and stepfather are on their way to visit Bree and Orson for the first time since the baby boondoggle.  Orson reminds Bree through gritted teeth to be calm, not critical - it took them years to convince Danielle to visit.  Got that, Bree?  Calm, not critical.  Riiiiight.
